Reggie Brown was a multi-sport athlete at Carrollton High, and was an All-Classification Player of the Year, the state's No. 1 recruit and a USA Today and Parade All-American in football. In 1998 he starred in Carrollton's first state championship in 24 years and caught 62 passes for 1,046 yards during the season. Brown was also a part of three-consecutive region championship teams in basketball. He starred in track as well and set the state record in the long jump as a sophomore, jumping 24’-9” at the 1997 state meet in Jefferson. Brown continued his football career at Georgia, where he caught 144 passes for 2,008 yards and 12 touchdowns. During his career with the Bulldogs, the team went a combined 50-14 including a 13-1 mark in 2002 when they won the Sugar Bowl. The Philadelphia Eagles selected Brown with the 35th overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft. He led all rookie receivers in his first season with 571 receiving yards and was second in receptions with 43. During his tenure with the Eagles, Brown caught 177 passes for 2,574 yards and 17 touchdowns. After his playing career, Brown transitioned to a coaching career, and in 2019 was hired as a wide receiver and assistant coach for the Cambridge Bears, a role he maintains to this day.
